Colouring on Kraft.............

I love colouring on kraft with my pencils, it looks so effective, I made this simple card for my FIL's birthday, I stamped the image in Memento rich cocoa, directly onto a 5x7 kraft card blank, coloured with coloursoft pencils, added a stamped sentiment and little buttons.

Camper Van Wedding

Friends of mine have just eloped to Gretna, in their VW camper van their cake was a camper van to so I came up with this card for them

Kanban stamp paper pieced blue and white, 6 x 6 blank, printed sentiment directly on to it, hand stamped floral paper matted on blue. ..

Father's Day...................

I forgot to share this card I made for my Dad, card front and back are decorated with House mouse stamps coloured with Derwent Coloursoft, papers are MME, BG buttons, papermania Kraft card blank 5 x 7, and papermania ribbon.

I used to be a scrapbooker................................!!!!!

This book has had me thinking 

It's a "Smash Book", from EKsuccess and K&Co.

I used to be a scrapbooker then the card's took over and just keeping on top of the birthday cards for friends and family, not to mention everyday stuff (like the job) takes up all my time.  I still take loads of photo's but can't remember the last time I printed any! So when I came across this little book the cogs started turning and scrapbooking came to mind, I have seen loads of  DIY versions of the book and decided that I don't want off the peg I want mine to be unique but I really like the pen that comes with it, a pen at one end and glue stick at the other, will have to look out for it in the shops they will sell replacement pens I would imagine.

Dread................ and a card!!!!

Tonight I'm feeling stressed out, it's my last night of freedom, back to work tomorrow after two weeks off! :(   It suddenly dawned on me a couple of years ago that I hate my job, and I mean really hate it, I went to work there 7 years ago in September just temporary until the kids were a little older, well here they are a little older and here I am a lot older trapped in a boring thankless job! I have been job hunting on and off for the last 2 or 3 years, but no luck! Plus people who keep telling me "Well a job is a job" are really starting to get up my nose!  Hopefully I will win the lottery and then I can retire!!!lol

Anyway on to my card which i made for my niece before we went on our hols.
