JYC day's 8 and 9

I am really, really behind, with so much school and family stuff to contend with, lack of yellow printer ink, its been total chaos!! but here are 8 and 9 hopefully will get up to date over today and tomorrow! wish me luck!?!?!

JYC 09 Day 7

I really got stuck on day6 so I have decided to come back to it later, this is my day 7 which I am going to add to, with more lists and things in the pocket. Will probably have to do some catching up on thursday because I will be at work all day tomorrow and then its the kids Christmas play in the evening so I have a really busy day ahead of me!

Day 5 JYC 09

My day 5 entry digi again I think I will be doing digi on days where I don't have much time hoping to do paper for day 6 watch this space!

I have just noticed I haven't added my number it's already printed out so will have to add it later a sticker me thinks!

Day 3's page is all about three cards sent to us from my Mum, you can read my Journalling below, it's pretty short but I may come back and add to it later. The journalling card fits inside the pocket page with one of the cards. Sorry about the scans again!!!

JYC 09 Day 2

Sorry about the poor pictures but had to scan them because no light left for the camera hopefully I will be able to take some better pics of tomorrows entry. Oh and forgot to say yesterday the photo's on my day 1 entry are of our christmas tree a couple of years ago. This is page 2 of my journal, the photo was taken on a wintery November morning this year, I was up early and grabbed my camera to see if I could capture the beautiful colours and was pretty pleased with the results. My journalling goes inside the pocket which is the left hand page.

Manifesto JYC '09

Day 1 Journal your Christmas, my book is a Sara Binder from HOTP, I am going to try and do a double page per prompt hopefully!! The aim of shimelle's class is to write, scrapbook, blog or however you may interpret some kind of entry each day from the 1st of December to the 6th of January, in effect keeping a daily journal of one kind or another over the festive period.

After a few years of umming and ahhing I have decided to Journal My Christmas with Shimelle Laine, having fallen out with Christmas over the last few years I have decided it's time to recapture the magic before my kids are too old to appreciate it. Surprisingly I am feeling quite excited about doing this journal and have done a fair amount of prep-work so that I don't fall behind (in theory anyway, I'm not the most organised person on the planet!!)

Bonfire Fun

I have been pretty quiet lately because I have a big project on, I am making a special photo book for my friends, sister for her 40th its turned out to be a bigger project than I first anticipated, but doesn't that always happen with these things?!! lol. Anyway this is a page I have managed to fit in, the photo is from bonfire night a couple of years ago and the layout is made using digital scrapbook artist, the kit was a freebie from shabby princess. Hugs

Passion for Promarkers

Well I've finally got round to making a card for the challenge, sorry I've been away so long. I have used cool aqua, rose pink and blossom, then spice and cinnamon for her hair hope its ok I'm a bit out of practice! lol!

My daughter who is 10 years old has been having a go with my digital scrapbook program and has made a couple of great pages which you can see here I think she is a chip off the old block!!!! lol Hugs

I think I have found my Digi-mojo I am really enjoying using this programme well I'm addicted actually but this means I haven't done any card making in quite a while! I have got a few birthdays so must get on with making some cards very soon. Anyhow this is what I 've been upto over the last couple of days.......

Oh yes its true I've been scrapping, I never thought I would digi-scrap but that was before I discovered Digital Scrap Artist from Serif, it's seriously addictive and you can use other kits in the programme my version is the free download so you don't get all the tools but its pretty cool! I think I will probably upgrade to the full version but this is ok for now. Not sure I will be a full convert to digi its just not the same, but I am a computer addict and I'm all for quick which it certainly is that! This was my first attempt with it not bad if I do say so myself! lol Hugs
